From humble beginnings in the Upstate/Western New York rave scene, Chris Pollock found his catalyst in Toronto’s festival circuit, where community, collaboration and artistry revealed the deeper magic of electronic music. For 20 years he has crafted and refined a particular sound as a DJ, and for the last decade he has expanded into production. Along the way Chris has been committed to uplifting fellow artists and championing unconventional, exploratory weird frequencies.

At Movement 2022 in Detroit, Chris and a close-knit group of friends from the UK, Canada and the US launched a new imprint: duz recordings. To celebrate, they hosted an underground Monday morning warehouse afterparty at The Andy Arts Center, showcasing a roster of talented, underexposed musicians Chris has met throughout his journey.
